Speech & Language Therapy

Licensed Speech-Language Pathologists and supervised Speech-Language Therapy Assistants provide therapy to address disorders related to speech production, receptive/ expressive language delays, cognitive-communication, oral, and written language deficits, auditory-linguistic processing disorders, voice disorders, swallowing and feeding, and fluency of speech. Therapy is provided to help facilitate effective communication for daily functioning, social development, and academic success. Speech-Language Pathologists develop an individualized plan of care tailored to the needs of each patient. Therapists and assistants at Center for Therapeutic Strategies take a naturalistic approach to therapy. Goals are addressed through activities that are enjoyable and motivational to the individual child, usually in a play environment.
